Meta Begins Stablecoin Payouts to Creators in Colombia and Philippines

Meta stablecoin payouts to creators in Colombia and Philippines rollout

Meta has started paying select creators in USDC stablecoins across Colombia and the Philippines. Eligible creators can now link their crypto wallets to receive USDC on the Solana or Polygon networks.

The rollout marks Meta’s latest stablecoin push since the shutdown of its Libra and Diem projects back in 2022. The difference this time is execution. Meta is not building its own coin. It is using existing, proven stablecoins on established blockchains.

For young traders, this is real adoption from a tech giant serving millions of users. When creators in emerging markets get paid in crypto, they learn to use it, save in it, and eventually invest in it.

The infrastructure is quietly being built under the radar. Those who notice these shifts early tend to position before the masses catch on. Meta is moving. The question is whether you are watching.
